Well,  it doesn't look like I made my March goal (or even came anywhere close). So I guess I'll make that my April goal.

I have to be honest, I'm getting really... discouraged tired bored of diet and exercise. I'm officially on day 301 of the weigh in, but I had been dieting/exercising for another 2-3 months prior to that. That makes 1 full year of diet and exercise and the only thing that I have to show for it is a loss of 28lbs (that I know of. I don't know how much I weighed before that, but I speculate my all time high was around 230). My goal was 50lbs in 1 year. I barely made half of that and I still have another 40-50lbs to go. At the rate that I'm going now, that'll take me another 2 years. I'm tired of counting calories and writing down every single thing that I eat. I'm tired of working as hard as I can to find only minimal results or a gain. I miss eating at my favorite restaurants and having ice cream. I hate diet soda and miss my regular ones. I'm tired of being tired all the time because I spent every spare minute of my day trying to fit in some exercise.

I'm sure if I had more success over this last year,  I'm sure I'd feel differently, but right now, I'm starting to get really tired of diet and exercise.

Oh girl don't get discouraged. It sounds to me like you just need something new and exciting to get you going again. I know that when I started I was doing a week of zumba on the wii and then switching to kettleworks for a week so that I would have something different. I think right now, I'd find something new and it doesn't have to cost much if any. You can scout out garage sales ... you can always find things like tae-bo or since you do reviews start looking for some fitness ones ... i've done a lot of those (Kettleworx being one of my favs). There are youtube exercise videos that you can work out too .. zumba, jazzercise, step ... Find time when your a Mom can be soo hard. I used to exercise the moment my girls went down for a nap until that got old and i got up at 5am. Now my hubby watches the girls while i go 2x a week. Do you have an ipod/iphone? I have a great app - Couch 2 5K. It slowly builds you up to running a 5k. It's great! I have lots and lots of other suggestions, lol. You just have to find something that keeps you going. One thing I do when I find myself losing motivation is take pictures and compare myself to my first week. When I see the difference that It's made I want to keep going. :)

I honestly feel the same way. I have been dieting for probably about 4 years, started 2 years before I got pregnant, lost 66 pounds, got pregnant and ate anything I wanted, and now here I am. I think I've lost probably about the same amount that you have. It is discouraging and I get bored of it too, especially when I don't see results. But, I don't give up for good because I don't want to look like this forever. I want to be fit so I keep trying. I can say for myself, I could try harder. I could make myself exercise more. Alot more. So I don't give up because I want to see the end result. And soon warmer weather will be here for good and we can walk again, which is so much easier for me to fit in.
